Joseph Electronics developed the OCON SMPTE Patching solution to assist Studios, Networks and Trucks in better managing their SMPTE Hybrid infrastructure. The OpticalCON connector by Neutrik is ideal as an internal patch connector for this application due to its duplex LC based design and relatively easy maintenance. The bulkhead also fits in a standard Neutrik D-punch so we are able to create a very neat high density yet easily manageable patching solution. Suitable for indoor stadiums, and in studio wiring while running fiber and copper in parallel. The internal jumpers are individually replaceable and the system comes in many configurations:
